Grade 6

This year we're going to use a new textbook called "Learning Zone 3" from McGraw-Hill. We will use this book for the whole year.  Please take good care of your book!

In the Fall 2015 semester, we will learn the following:

• Unit 1 - At the Shopping

• Unit 2 - Work at Home
• Unit 3 - Party Plans
• Unit 4 - The Best Party!

In the Spring 2016 semester, we will study the following:

• Unit 5 - A Desert Journey
• Unit 6 - Rain Forest Adventures
• Unit 7 - Wonderful Worlds
• Unit 8 - Beautiful Things

We will also learn the following:

• Song: "It's Raining, It's Pouring"
• Song: "Proud of You" by Fiona Fung
• Song: "Count on Me" by Bruno Mars
• Song: "Roar" by Katy Perry

Activities we will do include role play, surveys, projects, games, and more.
